The Mississauga Transitway is a new on-going project implemented in Mississauga to handle the increasing population & traffic Mississauga is expected to have over the next 40 years. The Mississauga Transitway is a fast, reliable, and efficient way to travel from the east to the west end of Mississauga on a dedicated bus corridor.

The Mississauga Transitway currently has four stations (Phase 1) on service including:

• Central Parkway

• Cawthra

• Tomken (Closest station to Pocock)

• Dixie

 

Also, 8 more stations for a total of 12 stations running across the east-west ends of Mississauga are expected to open, with the final station expected to be completed and open by 2017 (Phase 2). These 8 stations include:

• Winston Churchill

• Erin Mills

• City Centre Transit Terminal/ Square One GO Bus Station

• Tahoe

• Ectobicoke Creek

• Spectrum

• Orbitor

• Renforth Gateway

 

Curent Routes on The Mississauga Transitway include:

• Route 21 - Explorer (MiLocal)

• Route 107 - Malton Express (MiExpress)

• Route 109 - Meadowvale (MiExpress)

 

Not only does The Mississauga Transitway reduce travel time, their stations are comfortable and have many amenities. For Example, The Tomken Station, which is closest to Philip Pocock C.S.S. has these amenities:
